“Chris Sapienza was a woman who fought the fight. She taught us all a lesson about how to live, to care, to love. She wanted to beat her cancer.  But she didn’t.  In her honor, what we need to do is change our entire approach towards colon cancer.  The standard of care is not good enough.  We need truly innovative, truly individualized research that brings discoveries in the lab directly to our patients.  But funding is critical.  Your donations to Chris4Life are sparks that light the fire and get us closer to a cure.  Help us make a difference.” - John Marshall, M.D.

John Marshall, M.D , is going to be the keynote speaker at the Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation's private Launch and Celebration Event in March. He is the Chief, Division of Hermatology/Oncology, Georgetown University Hospital; Associate Director, Clinical Research, Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center; Director of the Ruesch Center for Cure of Gastrointestinal Cancers. Dr. Marshall is leading the way in an "individualized" approach to treatment for colon cancer.
