Why I Wanted To Support Chris4LIfe

Why I Wanted To Support Chris4LIfe

My name is Karen Melnik and I'm one of the Board of Directors of Chris4Life.  In 2000, my mother, Nancy Melnik, died of colon cancer.  Exactly one year later, her sister, my Aunt Rosalie Wolf, also died of colon cancer.  While I contributed to other cancer organization in the past, their mission didn't seem to fit with what I felt inside.  I wanted to support an organization that focused exclusively on colon-cancer prevention, treatment, and eradication.  Approximately one year ago, my cousin, Bill Dubose, invited me to join him at the first annual Chris4Life gala.  I knew by the end of the evening that Chris4Life was very special and I wanted to get involved.  I'm constantly inspired by everyone involved in the foundation.  Their dedication is unparalleled.  Together, we can help Chris4Life fulfill its mission.
